JANUARY AND MARCH IN CHICAGO
Evangelistic message given at Holy Trinity Church in Chicago. Holy Trinity is the Roman Catholic Mission Church to Chicago from Poland, so it is the only all Polish Roman Catholic Church in Chicago as it is under the jurisdiction of the Primate of Poland and not the Cardinal of Chicago. We were asked to come back and speak again and hope to do so in January of 2016.
All Day Bible Conference in Polish at the Moody Church for fifteen Poles on Salvation, Deity of Christ, The Holy Spirit and Eternal Security of the Believer with the consequences of carnality vs. the rewards of Christ-likeness.
Polish Women’s Conference and evangelistic concert planning and prayer meetings at the Orchard Evangelical Free Church. In March these meetings were held and organized by Polish women from seven different fellowships and churches including: Harvest Bible Chapel, Willow Creek, Orchard Ev. Free, Church of our Savior, Melvina Polish Evangelical Church, The Polish Christian Center and The Lake Zurich Fellowship Church.
APRIL AND MAY IN POLAND
Thank you for praying for Joe’s five week trip to Poland and for our family back home. The Lord protected, provided and guided throughout the entire time of the great opportunities that have open to us in Poland.
“And the word of the Lord was spreading throughout the whole region … And the disciples were filled with joy and with the Holy Spirit.” Acts 13: 49, 52
Joe was speaking in twelve local churches, Protestant and Catholic conferences, sixty prisoners. He also spoke at a city wide March for Jesus in the town’s square and was meeting with Christian ministers in other Polish cities. Individuals responded to the messages and plans were made for future ministry among these new churches and fellowships as God opened new doors of ministry. Here are just four of the fifty Christian ministers I met with in all these cities.
Preparing the way for Awana in Poland – June through October.
It is our honor and privilege to organize the born again spiritual ministers and youth workers all across Poland for a week of meetings with the president of Awana Jack Eggar and two other Awana staff members in Poland this fall. All systems are go as we will hold pastors conferences in several cities and one or two youth workers conferences across the country. It is our task to contact pastors, elders and youth workers throughout Poland, set up a week filled with meetings and to travel with the Awana team throughout Poland. The time is ripe in-spite of the divisive obstacles that could work against Awana making a great impact for the Gospel with children, teens and families. Awana has caught its second wind over the past few years and has gone from 17,000 churches to 30,000 using their Gospel centered program in over 100 countries and 108 different Christian denominations. The week with Awana will be the highlight of our fall trip to Poland, but we will take part in many other meetings before and after while we are there. Please pray that the Lord will have His way in Poland with us and Awana. We hope to resume our Student Summer Project Mission in the Summer of 2016.
